Excellence in Clinical Engineering Leadership Award (ExCEL)
By all indicators, the inauguration ceremony of the Healthcare Technology Foundation ExCEL award was a smashing success. On Sept. 4, 2008, a crowd of about 100 people joined the ExCEL award event jointly organized by the HTF ExCEL team and the Communications department of the University Health Network, of which the Toronto General Hospital is the main facility.


AJCC-American Journal of Critical Care A National Online Survey on the Effectiveness of Clinical Alarms - American Journal of Critical Care
The ACCE Healthcare Technology Foundation's study of clinical alarms has resulted in an article recently published in the American Journal of Critical Care. This article discusses the alarm survey and results from a clinical perspective and provides opportunities for effective clinical alarm management.
